Bucket Elevators

The typical bucket elevator consist of a series of buckets mounted on a chain or belt operating over head and foot wheels.Take up units are provided as a means to compensate for variations in length of chain or belt due to temperature changes, atmospheric cnditions ,or a wear.
Selection of the proper type of bucket elevator depends largely on capacity requirements and charectristic of the material handled.
Roller Conveyor
Powerised and Unpowerised roller conveyors are designed conforming to IS-5895 & CEMA standards.Roller conveyors are line restricted devices and consist of rollers mounted between two side members. Bearings are usually incorporated in the idlers to cut down the mechanical losses.
An unpowered gravity roller conveyor is set at an appropriate incline and goods move down it by gravirty.In powered roller conveyor the power unit normally electric motor drive the rollers via Chains or belts, providing controlled movement of goods.
Screw Flight
Canara manufactures various type screw flight such as cut screw flight,paddle type screw flight,ribbon flight, regular standard type. Canara manufactures screw flight in Mild steel, Stainless Steel, PP etc. Diameter of the screw flight ranges from 100 mm to 1500 mm in varoius pitches both in right hand and left hand. Canara also supplies Contineous type screw flight upto 3 mt length in varoius diameter and pitches
Screw Feeder
In Screw Feeder only a controlled amount is carried to the discharge.In Screw feeder the inlet portion of the trough is made to flooded with the material and by means of a shroud in the trough or by the use of tubular trough.
Several factors should be established before selecting a screw feeder, these being:
1. Kind and Character of material being handled.
2. Density of the material as conveyed
3.Maximum rate at which material is handled
4.Overall length of feeder

Slat Conveyor
Slat conveyors are designed conforming to IS standard. These Conveyors are extremely versatile due to their simple design and construction. Maintenance and tracking problem with these conveyors are minimum. It can carry heavy load of steeper angles and also easily be made to change slope for loading and unloading.

chain conveyors employ continous chain that travel the entire length of conveyor, transmitting the pull from the driving unit and same cases carrying the whole weight of the transported materials. The matrials may be carried directly by the chains by flights pushed or forced by the chain or special attachment fitted to the chains.
P.P. Screw Conveyor
Polyprophelyne (pp) screw conveyor is used where the product handled is highly corrosive like chlorine. All the parts are manufactured in pp materials.PP Screw conveyor developed by Canara is used to transfer edible maida in which chlorine is added through the nozzels.Screw flight is paddle type which helps in movement of materia as well as mixing of the materials.

Seed Cleaner
Features:
- High separation efficiency.

Operation:
- Seeds are fed in to the machine and distributed evenly across the width of upper screen. A pair of vibratory motors create reciprocating movement of the cleaner to enable the material to move on the sieve and pass through the perforated screen.
- All large impurities are separated from the top deck and fine dust & particles from the bottom deck.
- Dust and light particles are sucked of by a strong upward draught of air created by air aspiration system. All the seeds are duly cleaned are collected in front of the machine.
Rotary Air Lock Valve
Canara manufactures wide range of rotary air lock valves made out of CI , SS or Mild steel body. The sizes varies from 100 m dia to 800 mm dia.
